Dear Susquehanna Community,

Welcome back to a new school year!

I hope everyone enjoyed a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer vacation. As we prepare to open our doors for another school year, I am filled with excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to serve as your Superintendent of Schools! 

There is something special about being part of a small, rural school community. Our Elementary School and Junior-Senior High School are more than buildings—they are places where relationships matter, traditions are valued, and students are known, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. The strong partnership among our students, families, staff, and community is one of our greatest strengths.

To our Students: We are excited to see you! Bring your curiosity, your ideas, and your willingness to learn. Do not be afraid to try something new, make mistakes, ask questions, and challenge yourself. Your teachers and the entire school community are here to support you.

To our Families: Thank you for trusting us with what matters most—your children. Your encouragement and partnership make a tremendous difference in student success. Please continue to stay connected with your child's teachers and our schools throughout the year.

To our Faculty and Staff: Thank you for the dedication, care, and professionalism you bring to our students each day. The work you do extends far beyond the classroom, and your commitment is truly appreciated.

And to our Susquehanna Community: Thank you for continuing to support our schools. The success of our school district and the success of our residents are deeply connected. We are proud of the partnerships that make our district a place where students can learn, grow, and thrive.
