BIDS WANTED
The Susquehanna Community School District is currently soliciting bids for custodial, general supplies, and sports for the 2026/2027 school year. The school board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in their entirety, or to accept or reject any individual items on the quotation forms.
Bids are submitted through the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit using their FIS bidding system. To be added to the vendor portal, please contact Chelsey Detwiler, Susquehanna Community School District, 3192 Turnpike Street, Susquehanna, PA, at 570-853-4921 ext. 1307 or by email at cdetwiler@scschools.org. You will then receive an email with a link to the vendor portal.
Items must be of equal or better quality than those specified if substitutions are made. All bid amounts shall include shipping charges. If for any reason you cannot supply an item you bid on, please notify us immediately. No backorders will be accepted unless noted at the time of bidding. Please include any MSDS or hazardous material data.
All bids must be either entered in the FIS bidding system or received in the business office at the Susquehanna Community School District, 3192 Turnpike Street, Susquehanna, PA 18847, on or before May 5, 2026. Bids will be opened on May 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. At that time, there will be a public bid opening in the administration office located in the elementary school.
(2025-2026) Invitation for Fuel Bid
The Susquehanna Community School District (SCSD) is now accepting sealed bids for the supply and delivery of #2 fuel oil for the upcoming heating season. The contract will cover the period from September 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026, and will ensure reliable heating for our district facilities.
Qualified vendors are invited to submit proposals in accordance with the district’s specifications and conditions. All bids must be received by 11:00 A.M. EST on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
